What we collect, and why

What stays on your device: your weekly reflections, progress ticks and unlock preferences in the learning programmes and the school are saved only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to us.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — our database, where assessment results, bookings and lead records are stored. Public site keys can only insert records; personal data is not publicly readable.
- FormSubmit — the email relay that delivers your report or booking confirmation to our inbox and yours.
- Payhip — checkout and file delivery for books and subscriptions; Payhip's own privacy policy applies to their checkout.
- IONOS — our business email.
- GitHub Pages — hosts this site; standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) are processed by GitHub to serve the site.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies, no selling or sharing of your details with anyone else for marketing.
- We never publish, and never train AI systems on, anything you submit.
How long we keep it
Assessment, booking and wait-list records are kept while we work with you or while your enquiry is live, and reviewed at least annually. Ask and we delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object — and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email madeleine.joubert@storycltd.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the pages that collect your details.
