Who held the floor, who was never asked, and what to say next time.
Track the meeting live with one tap per speaker, or paste the transcript afterwards. You get the numbers, the observations, a question for each person written for how they think, and a word of encouragement that is true. Everything runs in your browser; the transcript never leaves it.
Your licence
The rules-based coach is free to use here. A team licence (£380 + VAT, one team, twelve months of updates) unlocks the narrative written by your own AI, transcript file upload, and the asset pack to run the Coach on your own domain. The unlock is checked in your browser, not enforced by a server: it is a courtesy gate for licensed teams, and StoryC does not rely on it to protect revenue.
Licensed. Narrative coaching, file upload and the asset pack are on for this device.
Connect your AI
Your key stays in this browser and is sent only to your provider, only when you press Write the narrative. StoryC never sees it. The narrative runs on the locked prompt coach-narrative.v3, which receives the numbers and your Coach profile, never the transcript.
Unticked, the key is kept only until this tab closes. Ticked, it is stored in this browser's local storage, readable by any script on this site, so tick it only on a device that is yours.
On your phone
Open this page on your phone and add it to the home screen (Safari: Share, then Add to Home Screen; Chrome: menu, then Add to Home screen). It opens like an app, keeps your Coach profile, licence and history on that phone, and works in a meeting room with one thumb: tap the speaker, tap a question, type a note.
Link your meeting tools
Teams and Zoom already write the transcript. After the meeting: Teams, Recap, Transcript, Download (.vtt); Zoom, Recordings, Audio transcript (.vtt). Open it here with Upload a transcript file, on the phone too. Your IT team can automate the hand-off from Microsoft Graph or the Zoom API using the calls in the pack guide; the Coach still runs in your browser. We do not put a bot into your meetings: that would move your transcript to a server, and the whole point of this Coach is that it never leaves your device.
Run it on your own domain
The asset pack is one HTML file, the locked prompt, and the Teams and Zoom transcript guide. Host the file anywhere; it needs no server.
Your Coach is yours. Tell it who you are and what you want from your meetings; every card then ends with a frank, professional word for you, measured against that. Saved on this device only.
Before the meeting · invite your Coach
Paste the calendar invite or agenda from Outlook, Teams or Google Calendar, or upload the .ics. Your Coach reads who is invited, the title and any agenda, and then asks you only for what is missing: the purpose, the outcome you want, your read of each person, and your own goal for this one. Nothing leaves this device. One-click from Outlook: add the Invite my Coach button and the invite arrives here by itself.
1 · The team in the room
Names as they appear in the transcript. The thinking style comes from each person's Profiler, or your own read of them before the meeting; it shapes the questions the coach suggests, and after the meeting the Coach tells you if what it saw disagrees with your read.
Tip: three to eight people gives the clearest read.
2 · Choose how the coach listens
Tap whoever is speaking. Tap again to pause. The coach keeps the clock, counts questions and interruptions, and nudges you when one voice is taking the room.
00:00
Notetaker
A second pair of hands. Type a short note and press + Note; it is stamped with the time and whoever is speaking. Decisions and actions get picked out for the card. Notes stay on this device.
Paste from Teams, Zoom, Otter or a VTT file. Formats like Name: text, [00:12:03] Name: text and <v Name>text are read. Speakers not on the team list are added as "Not sure yet".
Where to find your transcript in Teams and Zoom
Microsoft Teams: open the meeting in the calendar → Recap → Transcript → Download (.vtt or .docx; use .vtt). Transcription must be on during the meeting.
Zoom: cloud recording → Audio transcript (.vtt). Or paste from the meeting summary.
Otter, Fireflies, Read: export as text with speaker names.
Automated import (enterprise): Microsoft Graph getTranscript and the Zoom Recordings API both return .vtt; the asset pack's guide has the calls. Your admin grants the consent; the Coach never needs your credentials.

Your progress
The Meeting Coach is a Rainbow agent by StoryC Ltd. It runs on fixed rules, not a model, so it costs nothing to use and never sends your transcript anywhere; only the summary numbers are logged to the StoryC funnel when you generate a card. Narrative coaching, the notetaker summary, live nudges and your development plan run on locked, versioned prompts (coach-prep.v2, coach-narrative.v3, coach-notes.v2, coach-live.v2, coach-plan.v2) on your AI key under a team licence; the key stays in your browser.
